On Footnotes and References
If you’re reading this, you’re probably one of the few people that actually looked into the footnote I included in my Advertising Trends report. And the only reason you probably did so was because of the way I referenced it.
I don’t have any data to back it up, but I bet that most people rarely click through or actually verify references. They take everything at face value.
